Maddie K.

Maddie K. is a singer, songwriter and producer from Trenton, Michigan. She has been writing music since she was 11 years old. She combines alternative pop sounds with detailed, diaristic lyrics to create soul-baring songs.

She currently attends the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she is in the progress of receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Communications & Media.

Furthermore, she has performed in over 27 theatrical productions from the time she was only seven years old. Her favorite roles include Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz, Linda Mason in Holiday Inn, and Ursula in The Little Mermaid.

Music isn't just music to Maddie K.— she has a story to tell. She believes that a song is not merely about what you say, but about the way you say it. She brings the many characters she's stepped into with her as she writes her lyrics.

Ultimately, she hopes that by sharing her music, it could be the very thing someone needs to hear at that time; whether it be through a specific lyric that resonates or an overall message that hits close to home. In these times, Maddie thinks we all could use a little music to lift our spirits.
